The Blood Testing Department in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital employs the services of VoxPro to manage booking, rescheduling, confirmation and cancellations of blood tests.

Previously, the department operated on a “first-come, first-served” basis.  This meant that wait times for patients were often longer than necessary, and patterns of attendance were inconsistent, making the service difficult to manage.  VoxPro produced a Standard Operating Procedure to streamline the process and created and implemented a scheduling system using custom-built software.

VoxPro’s call centre processes up to 3000 calls per month and has reduced the overall patient wait time by 83%.   Our staff can access the VoxPro scheduling system online, view the most up to date information and print reports.  We can also edit this schedule to suit our own needs on a daily basis making the interaction between VoxPro and us seamless. We are very happy with the service VoxPro gives and have seen the service go on to receive two trophies within six months.”
